SENSOR TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
FAQ
Will the sensor fit the pretapped hole that is standard on the KTM and GasGas?
Yes, it will. And you can use the stock magnet also if it has one.

Can I use the stock KTM sensor to run both the WatchDog and the stock KTM odometer?
No, you cannot run both off the same sensor at the same time. You can run one at a time, though. However, you will have to change the connector on the stock odo and sensor.

How come the WatchDog doesn't calibrate my wheelsize when I adjust my mileage?
If enduros were run on pavement, with only one line to take, with turns you could never overshoot, were layed out from start to finish with one bike (using a WD of course), and the course mileage was never fudged for road crossings, check placement, and rerouted sections, we would include such a routine in our software. Until that time, the best that a calibration routine can do is calibrate your wheelsize for the section you just finished. Ask anyone who uses a computer with this function if he still has to adjust his mileage at the markers...the answer is yes. So what exactly does it do for you?? Your odo will always be off by a few hundredths no matter what. We like to keep our odo predictable. Constantly changing the calibration does nothing for you.
